Our Take: Anything Chef Jason does is okay by me.  He has a beautiful webzine with incredible recipes, podcasts, webclasses and more every month.  If you love to eat, but don't want to cook, he is your man.

Our Take: These are fabulous and creamy.  The shampoo and conditioner bars are not only luxurious, but just a couple of swipes on your head and the lather is everywhere.  Very cost effective with no loss of quality.  The bundt cakes and cup cakes are a pure soap.  They look so cute and would be perfect for a shower or party favor.

Our Take: I found out about these at a Green event, and was extremely impressed by the found and the products.  Check out their website to learn why other candles don't compare.

Marie is a photographer who has worked in a variety of settings.  However, she is focusing on her career as a set photographer for film and television at the moment.

Our Take:  Marie's photographs are fantastic.  She makes everyone feel at home and keeps the camera from becoming intimidating.  I saw her work on an internet series set, then her more artistic shots.  She will be doing the updates on my website in the coming months.

Just what you needed for the holidays--

Why do I have Stubborn Belly Fat   when I do a Million Crunches a day?

This DVD describes the anatomy and physiology of how this happens.  Then, I give you exercises to help tone up that pouch in front by strengthening the back.  The exercises are easy and can be done in addition to your routine, or help you start one.

BACK PROBLEMS???

I have a metal rod next to my spine, and can do these exercises.  If your belly is flabby, your back is not strong.  These simple exercises can help strengthen your lower torso and help stretch those back muscles.  I showed these to personal trainers before introducing them to you.  I even have a work around for one exercise, just in case you need it.  Just to be safe, make sure you speak to your healthcare provider before starting any new physical activity program.

But no exercise alone can do the trick.  Good health is what you DO and what you EAT.

My cook booklet, Melt the Belly Fat Recipes
will help you make delicious, low fat dishes to belly fat.  The recipes run from fast salads to Sunday dinner.  These 25 recipes have the nutrition breakdown right with them.  I cover breakfast, appetizers, sandwich spread, salad, main course and OF COURSE dessert!  I have a copy of the exercises in the book just in case you need them.

The cost is 10.95 + $2.95 shipping/handling U.S.

Get them both at $23.95 and save $5.

Million $$$  Nutrition

           on a Food Stamp Budget!

You can eat healthy and you can eat cheap.

With this DVD you can eat healthy foods and foods you really like.  Such as sweet potatoes, pasta, stir-frys, Thai food.

I used the monthly amount and budgeted for the menu to be higher the first week and then the leftover food stretches the budgets in the next week.

You can use the recipes as written or add your own favorites.  And VARIETY is the key.

I discuss menu preparation, and you can download the menu [has an extra day] and the shopping list.

You and I go shopping.  On the shopping video, I give you shopping tips as well as nutritional info on why we are buying certain items.

Then, we go to into the kitchen.  I show how to make basics like rice, beans, draining tofu [quick and easy].  We cook almost everything on the menu.

The equipment is minimal, but you can get as exotic as you want in your own kitchen.  I made this for families who have lost their home and college students and have little as far as equipment goes.  You do need a knife, cutting board, bowls, pots and a potato masher.  Well, I have improvised mashers in my day, so you really don't even need that.

Most of this can be microwaved and/or cooked in a toaster oven.  I use the stove, but a lot of it could be microwaved and browned a little.  Pasta and rice do need a stove.

The fastest growing group on food assistance is families.  For many this is the first time they have had to buckle down to a low, low food budget.  That was me for many years, and I take what I have learned as a dietitian plus my own experience and put it out there.

See below on how to order yours. Click here

A percentage of the profits will go to a local food bank.  You can sponsor copies to be give away by your local WIC office.  I give a significant discount for this, however, I do have to pay for processing and shipping.  Contact me through the Guestbook for that.
